THEY CAN BE THAT STUPID.

Amidst all the sugar bashing and anti big corporates meme, Southern Bottlers possibly the largest producer of Plastic bottled water in this country will not incur the proposed Tax on Water because they draw urban water supplies.

I thought, obviously in error that Coca cola were public enemy number one in the later Battle of The Bulge now it seems such murdering bastards are to be exempted from inclusion with the robber barons who turn water into overseas funds by using cows

Clearly the Tooth Fairy didn't want her luvvies in Manurewa paying higher retail for their Fanta Coke etc but Milk, now that will be different.

You couldn't make this stuff up let alone find a media to publicise it for no charge.

Gosh, it's almost like we need a process in which governments put their proposed legislation to Parliament and it then goes through a sequence of reviews by a sub-committee of Parliament to minimise the potential unintended consequences. We could call it a "select committee" process, for example...

Psycho......Please don't call it a select committee. The process is deeply flawed with the result in the bag before they sit. Call it something that has no input from politicians.

Yeah reminds me of TOR's with "new evidence in the Public domain " which turned out to be a general purpose map of little use whilst accurate information remained gathering dust in Defence files.

Globally, Coca Cola is one of the worlds largest water bottling companies with a raft of brands. I don't know if they have any NZ water labels in their portfolio.

They certainly do in Australia and were recently given the arse by Woolworths.
